Procedure to be followed for replacing the existing active magnetic cards with EMV Chip based Cards 

Dear SPOCs,

          It has been directed by the competent authority that all active magnetic stripe DOP ATM cards will be blocked on 31/01/2020. Hence all the circle SPOCs should intimate all the Post Offices to replace existing active magnetic stripe cards (Card No starting with 607245) with EMV chip based cards (Card No starting with 608072) before 31/01/2020 either by issuing Instant EMV cards or by placing Personalized EMV Card request.

Procedure to be followed for replacing the existing active magnetic cards with EMV Chip based Cards :

INSTANT - Invoke CCMM Menu - select modify function - enter CIF ID - select card No using searcher. After selecting card No click on GO button. In the second screen Select action as replacement , click on instant radio button in card type - delete the existing Kit Number and enter New Instant EMV Chip card Kit Number and press Tab. Ensure that the product type should populate EMV608. Click on validate and submit in case no errors. Once the data is submitted successfully,  the same should be verified by the Supervisor without fail.

PERSONALIZED - Invoke CCMM Menu - select modify function - enter CIF ID - select card No using searcher. After selecting card No click on GO button. In the second screen Select action as replacement - click on personalized radio button in card type ​and press Tab. Ensure that the product type should populate EMV608. Click on validate and submit in case no errors. Once the data is submitted successfully,  the same should be verified by the Supervisor without fail.

 In this connection, please find the attached Excel containing  SOL  ID Wise Active Magnetic stripe ATM cards data for further action at your end on priority.
