6. You are the most important people as you will engage with the customer and be the
7. brand ambassadors of IPPB.
8. You will take charge of situations on the ground and tell the customers about Banking
9. and our offerings to them.
10. IPPB is going to facilitate the payments services for last mile customers through Postal
11. Assistant at the counters of HO/SO and Doorstep Banking extended by Postmen and
12. Grameen Dak Sevaks. Payments Services includes Remittances, gas and electricity
13. bill payments, mobile recharge. DTH recharge school fees payments, buying of bus
14. and unreserved train tickets, payments of direct benefit schemes of Government of
15. India, small payments to local fruit and vegetable sellers etc.
16. In a village, the nearest bank branch may be 10-25 kms away and the India Post,
17. with its huge network of post offices and army of Postal Assistant and
18. postmen/Grameen Dak Sevaks, will be able to effectively deliver the services of IPPB
19. and Dop
20. Even if a customer is not familiar with operating a mobile app on their own then they
21. can approach the postmen and Grameen Dok Sevaks armed with micro-ATMs or
22. transactions at their doorstep.
