10% reservation bill for general category poor - Government introduces Constitution Amendment Bill in Rajya Sabha

प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि सामान्य वर्ग के गरीबों के लिए 10 प्रतिशत आरक्षण विधेयक एक ऐतिहासिक कदम है जो गरीबों के लिए सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाता है  

The Prime Minister has said that the constitutional amendment bill providing 10% reservation for general category poor is a historic step for the uplift of the poor and a reflection of the Government’s commitment to SabkaSaath, SabkaVikas. Addressing a public rally in Solapur, Maharashtra today, he said that the passage of the bill by Loksabha is a strong answer to those who were spreading falsehood in this regard and expressed hope that the bill will be passed by Rajya Sabha. The Prime Minster said, “We have passed a historic bill to provide 10% reservation to Economically Weaker Sections of the General Category in Lok Sabha yesterday. This has strengthened our resolve of Sab KaSaathSabkaVikas”

प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा कि सामान्य वर्ग के गरीबों के लिए 10 प्रतिशत आरक्षण उपलब्ध कराने के लिए संविधान संशोधन विधेयक गरीबों के उत्थान के लिए एक ऐतिहासिक कदम है जो सबका साथ – सबका विकास के लिए सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाता है। महाराष्ट्र के सोलापुर में एक जनसभा को संबोधित करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि लोकसभा द्वारा इस विधेयक का मार्ग उन लोगों को मजबूत जवाब है जो इस संबंध में झूठ फैला रहे हैं। उन्होंने यह उम्मीद जाहिर की कि यह विधेयक राज्यसभा में पास हो जाएगा। प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि हमने कल लोकसभा में सामान्य वर्ग के आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्गों के लिए 10 प्रतिशत आरक्षण उपलब्ध कराने के लिए एक ऐतिहासिक विधेयक पास किया है। यह सबका साथ – सबका विकास के हमारे संकल्प को मजबूत बनाता है।
